Modernization

Client: California Planning Foundation (CPF)

The CPF is a non-profit organization established by the California Chapter of the American Planning Association. The organization was founded in 1970, with the previous version of its website being developed in the early 2000s. The organization has a strong reputation, it just needed a stronger website to exemplify it.

  • Improve the CPF’s website aesthetically and functionally. As this organization collects donations and provides students with scholarships, the website needs to be able to receive donations online and allow students to submit applications.

As this website is updated annually to showcase scholarship recipients, it needs to be designed in a client-friendly manner, where a non-developer can easily update the website.

  • Modernization means that there is existing content and older material that we will need to improve or upgrade.

    Services provided included:

    • Web Design & Development

    • Domain Selection and Registration

    • Google Workspace set up

    • Logo Digitalization

    • Built-in eCommerce platform and form submission

  • The CPF experienced an increase in donations and applications upon completion of the new website, due to the ease of access and usability. Donors can now use various payment methods online, all automatically organized into an internal dashboard for the Board members to track donations.

Furthermore, new organization tools introduced make it easier for the Board members to organize documents and communicate internally.
